Learn more about this Project
Breckenridge Ski Resort (BSR) is located on the Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest. The BSR proposal includes the Peak 6 lift and terrain that would increase overall resort terrain acreage by 550 acres. After the proposal was scoped for public input in 2008, the Forest Service developed an alternative that would address the purpose and need and increase overall terrain acreage by 326 acres. The Draft EIS analyzed and disclosed the effects of the alternatives. The Final EIS analyzes and discloses the effects of the alternatives, including more detail and clarifications when necessary. The Response to Comments document addresses comments received on the Draft EIS. The Record of Decision was signed on August 15, 2012, by the Forest Supervisor approving Alternative 2 - the Proposed Action.
